We all have our favorite Netflix addictions: Orange Is The New Black, Gossip Girl, even, for some of us trying to re-live our childhood, a plethora of Disney Classics. However, the one show that I think is ABSOLUTELY necessary to binge-watch would be Parenthood.

Why you ask? Well, allow me…

1. Adam Braverman. Just look at him. He’s everything you could ever dream of in your future husband rolled into one perfect human. And he can dance. Added bonus.

2. It’s real. I’d imagine in a world where the Kardashians didn’t exist, this might somehow be classified as reality TV. There are some times when you forget you’re watching a TV show because the acting is just so natural.

3. Millie and Zeek’s house. It’s like Better Homes and Garden’s just threw up on the set of the show….in the best way possible.

4. The emotional rollercoaster. No other show can make me ugly cry, laugh out loud, happy cry, and scream at the TV in under an hour.

5. It was created by Jason Katims. AKA the creator of Friday Night Lights. AKA If you love Friday Night Lights, (who doesn’t?) you’ll love Parenthood.

6. Loreali Gilmore will (finally) be a staple in your life again.

7. The theme song. Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young” just gets me.

8. Braverman dance parties. As cheesy as they sound (and are) I still laugh out loud and occasionally happy cry (see #4) whenever they happen.

9. Kristina is the bomb.com. At everything.

10. The sixth and final season airs in September. So if you’re actually as good at Netflix as you claim to be, you’ll have no problem catching up in time for the premiere.

Why are you still reading this???? I thought you would’ve X’d out and started watching as soon as you feel in love at first sight with Adam. Go! Go! Go!
