Spring break: a time you can escape reality, hit the reset button, and finally begin the countdown to summertime. Although spring break is canceled this year, that doesn’t mean we can’t daydream about frantically packing our suitcases, bathing-suit tan lines, the peaceful sound of waves crashing, and sipping a  piña colada while sitting poolside. Everyone has their own dream spring break destination, and I believe that destination can say a lot about someone’s personality. So, here’s my list of what your spring break getaway may say about you:

Miami, Florida

If you’re spring breaking in Miami you certainly know how to have some fun in the sun. If you are visiting this southern Florida city, you are most likely an individual who likes to be on the go, yet also enjoys their relaxation time. Lucky for you the opportunities in Miami are endless; from spending your days on a boat trip, snorkeling, high fashion shopping, eating at five star restaurants, and experiencing great night life!

Jay Peak, Vermont

If you’re booking your spring break trip to Vermont you’re probably trying to hit up the ski slopes one more time before winter slips away from you. With that being said, you are most likely an extremely down to earth individual who appreciates all nature has to offer. In addition to this, you are probably a very active individual who also likes to get out there on the slopes and have a good time!

Home (stay-cationer)

There’s no shame in being a stay-cationer over spring break. In fact, I believe some of the best breaks are spent twiddling around your hometown and surrounding areas. If you’re this type of person you are certainly a homebody who enjoys the simple things in life. It doesn’t take much to make you happy, and you don’t see the thrills in having to travel to a new destination to find adventure and happiness!

Paris, France

Bonjour! If you are spending your spring break in Paris (or anywhere in Europe) you are certainly the classy and tasteful type. You are also very simple, but see the true beauty and value behind every little thing. In addition to this you may certainly be a romantic who has a deep appreciation for history, architectecture, croissants, and berets!

Disneyland/world

f you are spending time at Disneyland (or Disneyworld) you are certainly forever a child at heart. You believe in the power of wishing upon a shooting star, which leads you to be an optimist who sees the best in all situations. You also are extremely patient, considering you are willing to wait on those long lines for all the rides!

Palm Springs, California

If you’re headed to Palm Springs you are the laid back type of person who likes to go with the flow. Home to the one and only Coachella Music Festival, you probably have the most superb taste in music. In addition to this, you’re also the type to spend your precious vacation time driving around Palm Springs desert in a convertible appreciating Palm Springs wide range of cacti and indie vibe!

If you’re someone like me, I’m sure you have the itch to jet set off to any one of these destinations. Until then, I will be daydreaming of sunny days ahead while blasting “Escape (The Piña Colada Song)” through my AirPods on my way to class!
