Top 5 Khalid Songs to Listen to Before the Spring Concert

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Sacred Heart chapter.

With barely a week into the spring semester, Sacred Heart announced the spring concert guest for 2019. The lucky artist to enter SHU grounds is Khalid. Personally, Khalid is one of my favorite artists and I am super excited that he is coming to Sacred Heart. It’s scary how he is only 20 years old and so popular in the music industry already. In preparation for the concert, even though it is two months away, it is crucial to be familiar with some of his songs to sing along. Here are his top five songs to jumpstart your Khalid playlist.

1. Saturday Nights from his “Suncity” album

2. Angels from his “American Teen” album

3. OTW – single featuring 6LACK and Ty Dolla Sign

This is definitely one of my favorite songs and reminds me of the summer.

4. Young Dumb & Broke from his “American Teen” album

The title alone is relatable to most college students and will be a top hit at the concert.

5. Vertigo from his “Suncity” album

I can’t wait to see the Spring Concert and to see how Khalid (hopefully) performs these songs. He is an incredible singer and will definitely be one of the best concerts Sacred Heart has. His voice is so empowering and can engage the audience. See you soon Khalid!
