What sparked your interest in music?
Well after I had an ankle surgery I was up in my room because I couldn’t move. I picked up the dusty guitar in the corner and it all started from there.
What instruments can you play?
I can play: clarinet, guitar, piano, keyboard, voice, and loop machine extraordinaire! (I’m just sayin’)
What is the motivation behind your song lyrics?
My motivation is my emotion, whether it is anger, sadness, happiness or just because I have thoughts and I am in the mood to write.
What kind of music do you listen to?
I listen to everything. From alternative, which I mostly listen to, to rock, to rap, if it is a good song then I will listen to it.

Songwriting in a heartbeat
Why?
Because I love to write more than anything in the world. Other people could always perform it I just want to write it.
What do you love about basketball?
I love running in transition and watching the ball go in the basket.
Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
Shower, nair (gotta be hair free), and then nap…yaya.
How do you manage your time between basketball, school, and music?
I really don’t, because I am terrible at it to be honest with you. I just hope everything works out.
Who is your biggest role model? Why?
Hmm, that is a toughy. Probably Stephen Curry in basketball and then Lauryn Hill in music. They are both just so crafty!
