Now that it’s September, school is officially in full swing, so it’s time to get back into routines! One especially important one for us ladies is our beauty routine! Our chapter here at SHU was fortunate enough to be sponsored by Garnier Fructis this past month! I’ve been using their anti-frizz serum products and their shampoo and conditioner for years, but this was my first time trying these amazing products!

After a long day of school and work, I was getting ready to wind down for the night. Before hopping in the shower, I used the Micellar Cleaning Water to take off my eye makeup. It was incredible! I put a little bit on a cotton ball and all of my makeup came off effortlessly. The best part was that it didn’t burn my eyes like other make up removers. I definitely need to get a full-sized bottle!

The next product I tried was the Damage Repairing 1-Minute hair mask with papaya extract. I’d never used a hair mask before, so I was excited to try out this product. There are three ways to use the hair mask:

  1. Regular mask: After shampooing, apply it to wet hair and let it sit for a minute before rinsing out.
  2. Conditioner;
  3. Leave-in: Apply to damp hair and brush through.

I decided to use it as a hair mask and didn’t even need to use conditioner after! My hair felt immediately soft, I was very impressed! After letting my hair dry in a towel for a little while (half an episode of This Is Us to be exact haha), I didn’t even need to use my anti-frizz serum! On top of it all, my hair smelt amazing, like papayas! I highly suggest these hair masks and I can’t wait to try the other three that we got, maybe even with the different uses they suggest!

I hope you got the chance to pick up some of these samples for yourselves at our table times this past week! If not, definitely go out and buy a few (or all!) of these products because they’re truly great! Another amazing aspect about Garnier Fructis products? They’re environmentally friendly! Between the years 2005 and 2012, the company has reduced their water and energy use by huge sums. They have also decreased their CO2 emissions from their factories and the amount of plastic used in their products’ bottles. Yet another added benefit is that lot of the ingredients used in their products are organic, which is amazing for a natural beauty routine! Moreover, being owned by L’Oreal, Garnier Fructis also does not test on animals, which is huge! I plan on using these incredible products from this exceptional brand for the rest of my days because not only do they benefit me, but the environment as well. Grab yours today!
