5 Skin Care Products to Help Your Skin Through the Change of Seasons

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Sacred Heart chapter.

The changing of seasons can be harsh on your immune system and your skin. You may start to get dry spots or even acne due to air quality and fall allergens. Here are 5 hydrating and rejuvinating skincare essentials to get you through the change of season.

1. Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea

I use this as a setting spray before and after applying makeup and to refresh my face throughout the day. It is small enough to throw in your backpack and take anywhere with you, perfect for waking your skin up during an 8am class.

2. Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask

This is a great mask for hydrating sensitive skin, it is rich and creamy without clogging pores or making your face appear oily. If you are prone to eczema or dry skin during the change of seasons, this is a perfect mask for you.

3. Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

This soy cleanser from fresh is a great alternative to drug store face washes and does not have any nasties in it. It is gentle on skin, and is used with all fresh and organic products.

4. Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer

Aveeno is an amazing brand all together, but their Positively Radiant Daily Moisurizer exceeded my expectations entirely. It has the perfect balance of salysilic acid to prevent acne and moisturizing properties. It is a great lotion to use on your face during the change of seasons and all year round.

5. Sephora Collection Moisurizing Rose Face Mask

I am a big fan of the sephora collection sheet face masks, they are inexpensive, easy clean up, and feel great against your skin. I usually put mine in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes before application to let the cool material soothe my skin. This is a great face mask for tired or dull skin and definitely can be used to reduce puffiness during the change of seasons.
