It’s that time of year again, when every sorority girl goes into panic mode. Girls are running around last minute and Windsor is guarenteed to be fresh out of dresses. Yes, it’s officially formal season. Formal season may come with its perks, like spending time with your girlfriends and having an excuse to dress up; but it also comes with a little bit of chaos. Here’s 10 signs we all know formal season is upon us.
1. When you’re sitting in chapter and they finally announce the date of your formal.
2. When you’re online dress shopping and you hit around page 50 on the first site.
3. You run around the mall looking like a crazy woman, but feel relieved once you see every sorority girl from SHU doing the same exact thing.
4. Once you finally find the dress and you realize you don’t have shoes that go with it.
5. You hit up BeachBum in downtown Fairfield only to find your entire chapter inside.
6. You force yourself to go to the gym for the first time in a month, only because you really want to look A1 in your hot formal dress.
7. You wait until the day of to get your nails done so they’re perfect for the big night.
8. After spending your entire bank account on a dress, shoes, tanning and nails, you still find yourself wondering where all your money went.
9. Formal day finally arrives and you slip on your dress only to instantly regret eating those fries the night before.
10. You finally stop stressing about how you look in your dress, whether or not your date is having a good time, and all the other stresses that come with formal, and you’re ready to have the time of your life with your sisters!
