I love the winter because of how beautiful the snow looks when it covers everything, the warmth and yummy aromas of soups and baked goods in the air, and hot chocolate galore. But it can be rough going outside, especially when needing to walk to class, it just doesn’t seem worth it to brave the brittle cold for a boring lecture. However, with the right pieces and accessories, you won’t even know it’s cold when you step outside. Keep on reading on what to wear to stay warm this winter!

Fuzzy Socks

This is a great accessory for people whose feet get really cold easily. They are so much warmer than knit socks and feel great on your feet. I love wearing them to bed because my feet get so cold. They’re also great to wear with rain boots because they tend to have enough extra room for the thickness of fuzzy socks. Plus, rain boots are not very warm, especially when trudging through inches of snow so these socks are awesome at keeping feet warm.

Fuzzy/Fleece Leggings

Regular leggings are comfortable and what not but they definitely don’t compare to super soft fuzzy/fleece leggings. They feel super luxurious on the skin and are so comfortable to lounge around in. They’re definitely a must-have when you need something quick to throw on for class while still being comfortable.

Fingerless Mitten Gloves

Touchscreen gloves are a great idea in theory but take forever to ever actually type something out, which is why I prefer fingerless gloves. They still keep hands warm while still allowing you to type away. The mitten part is also great for when you’re not typing and want to keep all fingers warm and toasty.

Infinity Scarves

Infinity scarves are another quick and simple way to stay warm while walking to class. I don’t know about you but I never know how to properly wrap a regular scarf around me without accidentally choking myself or leaving too much dangly at the sides. An infinity scarf gets rid of this hassle while still maintaining high levels of warmth. They look effortlessly stylish while being useful, what more could a girl ask for?

Flannels

Flannels are a great way to layer up in the winter without looking boring or dull. It’s a great way to add pattern and dimension to an outfit without freezing. There are so many patterns and color schemes, you’ll never have one like the other. I like layering a flannel over a long sleeve shirt when it’s really chilly out. It’s another coat of warmth to go between a top and chunky cardigan without making you look bulky.

Don’t fret the cold, add some of these items to your wardrobe and you’ll be on your way to cozy heaven. Your walk to class won’t even phase you.
