Tuesday, April 3 – Campus Movie Festival at Rutgers 2018 (12 p.m. to 5 p.m.) Campus Movie Festival, the world’s largest student film festival, gives students everything they need to create a short five-minute film in one week. This event is free and open to all Rutgers students. The top 16 movies will be showcased at the Rutgers red carpet premiere and the top 4 will move on to the national event, Terminus, held in Atlanta. 

Tuesday, April 10 – RUPA Presents: Calligraphy Workshop ft. Rajiv Surenda (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.)

Kevin G. from Mean Girls is visiting Rutgers! This *free* calligraphy workshop, for artists of all levels, will be held at the Livingston Student Center Gathering Lounge, will teach you how to create a hand-written letter for a loved one. All you need to do is be one of the first 50 Rutgers New Brunswick students to get there. Also, don’t forget your favorite pen and the address of a loved one!

Wednesday, April 11 – RUPA Presents: Open Mic Night (8 p.m. to 11 p.m.)

Need to crack a smile or burst into laughter? Come on down to the Red Lion Cafe in the Rutgers Student Center to hear some hilarious jokes and free Dunkin’ Donuts.

Thursday, April 12 – LTC Presents: Legally Blonde: The Musical (8 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.)

The Livingston Theater Company will be performing the musical version of one of the beloved Legally Blonde movie at the Livingston Student Center! The musical will run from Thursday, April 12 to Sunday, April 15, so definitely do not miss it!

Friday, April 13 – RUPA Presents: Beats on the Banks ft. Metro Boomin (8 p.m. to 11 p.m.)

Metro Boomin, producer of over a dozen Top 20 R&B/hip-hop hits such as Drake and Future’s “Jumpman” and Future’s “Low Life,” will be performing at the College Ave Gym.

Saturday, April 28 – Rutgers Day 2018 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Rutgers Day is here! It’s a fun-filled family-friendly event that takes place every year on the Rutgers New Brunswick campus (specifically on College Ave, Busch, and Cook/Douglass). Clubs, organizations, labs, and departments table and show off their research and promote their clubs, oftentimes giving out a bunch of free stuff or allowing you interesting, engaging, and educating experiences. Not only is it a public event, so bring your family, friends, and more, but parking in all Rutgers parking lots are free! Definitely do not miss out on all the goodies, exhibitions, and experiences that Rutgers Day has to offer!

Saturday, April 28 – New Jersey Folk Festival at Rutgers (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Jam out to some live folk music on the lawn at Cook/Douglass while devouring delicious food truck munchies. 

Monday, April 30 – Rutgers Salsa Presents: Salsa Project 2018 (7 p.m.)

The Rutgers Salsa club is organizing their annual salsa project and this year the theme is fire and ice! This event, held at the College Ave gym, will feature not only amazing performances from the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Salsa groups but also the Rutgers Salsa Team! Join the Rutgers Salsa Club for a night of food, music, and social dancing!
