I know this a very much-dreaded topic at college campuses right now, but sorry ladies, we have to talk about it. How we can survive the awful, potential-final-grade-changing midterms that these professors give us? I know it sucks and I hate it too, but us girls have to stick together and run the world like Beyoncé says!
Â
I’m going to give you guys tips on how to prepare for midterms! Don’t worry its not that bad…okay maybe it is, but believe me these tips are FOOLPROOF!!
Â
1) DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!!!
I’m serious ladies, do not I repeat do not procrastinate! I know it is easier said than done, but leaving everything for the last minute is the worst thing you can do! Leaving things last minute gives you more anxiety before the exam, which can cause you to mess up and make mistakes on the exam. That’s the last thing us students want to do, male mistakes on exams!! Give yourself a couple days before the exam to study so you aren’t stressing over the weekend since you now have to cram for an exam that is on a Monday. Even reward yourself after studying and being proactive with your school work, watch your favorite tv show and eat ice cream! Ice cream helps with everything in my eyes! :)
2) MAKE STICKY NOTES :)
Sticky notes are a great way to remind you of the work you have to do for the day or for the week! Place the sticky notes around your apartment or dorm where you are most likely to see them! Getting colorful and bright sticky notes will not just brighten your mood, it will also motivate you to study! Even place a sticky note on your laptop saying no facebook or instagram so that too can be a constant reminder of the things you shouln’t be doing. Â
Â
3) GET A CALENDAR!!
You can either buy a calendar at the dollar store or make a DIY calendar, cuz’ it’s a struggle out there for us college students!! A calendar will help you keep track of dates and when study sessions start for classes! So keep a calendar in your room and carry around a planner to jot things down! This will definitely help you when it comes to keeping your midterm anxiety in check!
Â
4) TELL FRIENDS TO HASTLE YOU!
***Disclaimer-tell them this is one time deal***
Talk to your friends and roommates and tell them to hassle you about studying and doing homework.  No one likes to be hassled into something, that’s why when our parents keep nagging us to do chores we just get annoyed by their voice and just do it so they can stop annoying us! This should give you girls that swift kick in the butt to stop procrastinating and get work done finally!!Â
