A College Student’s Thanksgiving Day Thoughts, as told by Grey’s Anatomy

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Rutgers chapter.

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to reflect on all the things there are to be grateful for in life. It is also a wonderful time to compile a list of Grey’s Anatomy GIFs showing a college student’s true thoughts. With that being said, read on to find out what is really going through our minds this Thanksgiving…

Trying to get through your classes before break like…

You go to sleep thinking about all the food you’ll be eating on Thanksgiving.

You wake up thinking about all the food you’ll be eating on Thanksgiving.

Watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade brings back all kinds of childhood feels.

Resisting the temptation to sneak food all day is a true test of your willpower.

When your family members arrive, it’s really nice to see everyone.

Then they start to ask you about boyfriends and grades.

And it’s not long until some sort of family rivalry or sibling fight breaks out.

Finally, the food is served and you eat to your heart’s content.

After stuffing yourself, the food baby is so real.

Then you see the dessert.

Food baby round two.

After recovering from your food coma, you reflect on the true meaning of Thanksgiving. Your friends and family are pretty awesome, after all.

Of course the food is awesome too.
