What are 3 words you’d use to describe yourself?
Spontaneous, enthusiastic, flawless
What are some things you’re involved in at Rutgers?
RUSA as a college ave at large representative on the university affairs committee.
What brought you to Rutgers?
The reputation of the Rutgers Business School is phenomenal. I heard a lot of great things about Rutgers and I wanted to check it out. I’m glad I did because I really found my home here.
What do you do to relax?
Watch Scandal, listen to showtunes, think of my cats, and hang out with my friends.
What got you into theater?
During my sophomore year of high school, my friend Lizzy pressured me into joining the drama club. Ever since I was cast in my first show, I developed this obsession with Broadway and theatre overall.
If you could be anyone else who would you be and why?
I would have to go with Olivia Pope from Scandal. She is so good at solving problems and has such strong connections throughout DC. But the real reason is that she drinks some of the best red wine around. I’m envious of that.
What’s your favorite song?
I can’t say that I have a favorite song. It seems to change with whatever show I’m currently obsessing over. Currently, I’m listening to the Legally Blonde soundtrack. So if I had to pick a song from that, I’d have to say “So Much Better.”
What’s one place you want to travel to?
Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted to travel to Australia. I still remember watching the Mary Kate & Ashley movie where they traveled to Australia as part of Witness Protection, and the amount of fun they had inspired me to travel there too, I guess. Kind of a strange reason.
What is your dream job?
Well realistically, my dream job would be to work on Wall Street as an investment banker or working in the finance field in general. However, considering my love for theatre, performing on stage or stage managing a Broadway show would be my true dream.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
If I could go back in time, I’d tell myself to step outside of my comfort zone more often. The most memorable and most exciting times of my life occurred as a result of forgetting about my nerves and what other people may think.
