Best Apps for Your Phone

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Rutgers chapter.

Gmail:

Unless you don’t have a gmail account, this applies to you. Receive notifications of emails right away, and you can reply or send them straight from your phone.

Coffee:

If you buy coffee every day and are loyal to a certain shop, you should definitely have the app of your store! That way the store can reward you with loyalty points, so you get the freebies you deserve as a supporting patron.

Bank:

This is super useful when you need to check your balance and see if you have enough money to splurge on another bubble tea. If you use a debit card or credit card, you can make payments and add more money to each card.

Venmo:

At first, I was suspicious of such an app. I don’t like to trust apps that dabble with my money besides the banking apps. But this app was created by Paypal’s company, and so they don’t really need profit from people using the app (unless you use a credit card on this). You hook the app up to your checking account and use it from there! When people pay you, the money stays in the app, so you can just send it from there instead of your bank account, or you can transfer it back to your bank account.

Rutgers App:

The two most important aspects are both located in this app along with other less significant features. You have the bus information as well as dining information!!
