Some of my favorite memories as a kid are sifting through candy with my siblings while watching a Halloween movie. It was such a cozy feeling and every year I like to recreate it by watching my favorite childhood movies. Here are a few of my favorites.

Halloween is a Grinch Night

This movie is an oldie but a goodie. As a kid, I used to beg my mom to play this movie almost every day. Now it’s my favorite Halloween classic.

Coraline

This movie literally gave me nightmares as a child. But, now that I’m older I fondly watch this film.

The Scary Godmother

I love this movie! It used to come on Cartoon Network when I was a kid and every year since I faithfully watch it.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

I’m going to be watching this movie every single day from Halloween to Christmas. I can’t get enough of it.

Twitches

Fun fact! I’m watching Twitches while writing this article. I love this movie so much because it’s so timeless.

Halloween Town

The Halloween town series was my favorite growing up. I remember wishing that when I became a teenager I’d be able to go to Halloween Town. Sad to say the closest I’ll ever get is watching the movie.

Corpse Bride

This movie makes me cry every single time. This is another film that I love to watch year-round. But I especially make it a point to watch it every Halloween.
