I know most mornings none of us want to get up and put on a full face of makeup. Who can blame us? With exams, papers, case studies and internships we really don’t have the time. But here are five little secrets you can try to still look vib
rant and ready for class with plenty of time to grab your morning coffee!
#5- Concealer
A little concealer can go a long way! You always want to go a shade lighter than what your skin tone naturally is. Why? It makes your face more open, bright and alert! Dab some under your eyes, but be careful! Not too close to your eyelid. You’ll look energetic and ready, and no one would ever suspect you had just pulled an all-nighter writing that ten-page paper!
#4- Tinted Lip Balm
It may look that girl is wearing lipstick, but it may actually be tinted lip balm! It’s a secret, and a fantastic one. There are dozens of cosmetic brands who have hopped onto the tinted lip-balm bandwagon, so you have plenty of choices. From neon pink, to stunning plum! Or even a sweet peach. It moisturizes your lips and adds a pop of color!
#3- Mascara
You don’t have much time to spare some mornings, and adding eye shadow may take too much effort. Why not for a few coats of mascara? Your lashes will be full and voluminous. You won’t appear tired or crazed with eyelashes batting so beautifully.
#2- The Red Lip Trick
It’s another delicious, little secret I actually learned from my mother, who is a fanatic of lipstick! Don’t have time for a full face? Don’t need it. Red lipstick will give you the perfect amount of color. People will think you planned it! It’s a bold statement. Clean face, red lips. It’s a show-stopping classic!

Let’s face it, we may just hate the idea of coating our face with makeup entirely. And don’t feel bad if you do! Nobody ever said makeup was the key to beauty now did they? But if you still want to look cute and need a quick answer just try the Cute Headband Scheme! Whether it be florals, studs or a bright color! You’ll look adorable and feel better that your bedhead is easily masked away. This photo I went with a braided headband that I had bought at the store (Because who really has time to braid their hair around their head?) I scrunched my hair and slipped this own and no one had a clue! Which is why I call this a scheme!
A lot of these little tricks can be combined and still be done under ten minutes! Slip on a headband with red lipstick! Or dab concealer and lip-balm on your walk to class! They are quick and easy, and most of these things you probably already have but never tried! So get trying, and remember, the prettiest thing you can wear is a smile! (Oh boy, that was really cheesy huh?)
