Haley is quite busy on campus. For her majors, she is part of the Elementary Education Club and the Students for Teaching Literacy Club. By far, Haley’s favorite involvement on Campus is as an ambassador in Admissions. She also takes part in the Ski Club and recommends that everyone check out the ski trip this winter!

Any freshmen out there? Don’t worry; Haley has some advice for you: “Go into school not picking your roommates. You’ll learn to step out of your comfort zone and not be reliant on the people you live with.”

Haley’s favorite thing about Rowan is the welcoming community. She feels that everyone (students and faculty) is very accepting and encouraging. Haley knows that she can make life long friends here and so can you!

Rachel is a senior English and Writing Arts double major at Rowan University. She also has minors in Women's & Gender Studies and Creative Writing along with concentrations in Publishing & New Media and Honors. She is the Senior Editor of Avant Literary Magazine as well as being in charge of the Her Campus chapter at her school. Rachel works as both a tour guide and a writing tutor on campus. She is big fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but not the patriarchy.
