I have been singing since I was in 3rd grade
How long have you been playing baseball for?
I started tee-ball when I was 4 years old
When did you join the Yellowjackets?
I joined the Yellowjackets the fall semester of my Junior year
 How did the boys on the baseball team react?
They were surprised at first, but after a few weeks I feel like they all accepted the fact that I liked to sing and began to support my decision
How did you feel about making the Taylor Swift video/ about the reactions it got?
I honestly didn’t think anything of it at the time. The group asked me to get involved in it for the show so I agreed to take on the roll. Making the film was a long process but in the end I feel that everything came out the way we wanted and it looked really well done.
Once the video started getting attention it was surprising to see how people reacted to it. Many people were very supportive, but others weren’t. I honestly didn’t mind what was said because everyone enjoyed it at our fall show and that was what it was meant to do.
What did you think/ how did you feel when the video made the Perez Hilton website?
At first I was confused because I had no idea who or what that was. Once I realized what it was all about I found it extremely funny and shocking. I couldn’t believe that our video, made in the small circle of Rochester, would ever get so much recognition and make viral ruckus.Â
Are you excited for your trip this summer (you are going right)?
I am more than excited but also a bit nervous. I don’t think I have ever been out of the country other than Canada so this should be an unforgettable experience. Also I am looking forward to meeting the people of Kenya and exchanging our cultures through music.
