Kony 2012

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Rider chapter.

Change has never been so real, so attainable, so now.

The Kony 2012 Campaign started by Jason Russell has taken Facebook, Twitter, and social media by storm in only a matter of hours. One Tweet, one status update at a time, the world is working together to bring justice to the Invisible Children in Uganda who have been murdered, made into sex slavs and forced to kill for the past twenty-five years by the rebel army led by Jospeh Kony.

Do what you can. Spread the word. Spread the hope. You only have until December 31, 2012. Pledge now. Find out more about Joseph Kony and what he’s done (and is still doing). By making him famous we can try to stop him! #KONY2012
