If you are like me and are from somewhere north of Richmond, the super humidity here during the summer and early fall may have surprised you. As someone who loves doing their hair and makeup every day, I quickly realized that I would have to find products that would be able to withstand the humidity here and stay in place all day. If you want to figure out how to keep your hair and makeup looking fresh all day, here are six products you should try:

The formula is waterproof, making it the perfect product to fill your brows with if you want something that can withstand humidity and stay on all day without fading.
2. NYX Epic Ink Eyeliner
This eyeliner is truly waterproof and won’t budge or smear, even on the most humid days. The brush tip is very thin, so this liner is easy to control and would be great for beginners who are learning how to do different eyeliner looks. Just make sure you have a good makeup remover because water will not remove this liner at all!
3. Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara
If you haven’t heard already, the holy grail of all mascaras now has a waterproof formula! This is one of my favorite mascaras not only because it’s waterproof and won’t run in humid weather, but also because you can apply more than one layer without having to worry about the mascara clumping.
4. Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
This setting spray is a necessity for all makeup wearers! If you want your makeup to stay in place through humidity, sweat or just a long day in general, this product will be a lifesaver. Although it is a little more on the pricey side, using a little bit of this product really goes a long way.
5. Tresemme Mega Firm Control TRES Two Freeze Hair Spray
This hair spray is the best at keeping your hair in place all day! It’s humidity resistant for 24 hours and has the maximum amount of hold. I used this before a super long day of classes and meetings and all of my curls were still in place by the time my day was over.
6. OGX Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner
This is one of the conditioners I like to use in the summer and early fall. The argan oil helps to make your hair really soft and smooth, no matter the weather outside. The argan oil in this conditioner also provides UV protection to keep your hair from getting damaged while you’re spending time out in the sun.
