One of the best parts of Halloween being on a Thursday this year is that the holiday can stretch into the next weekend. What more could we ask for than two Halloweekends? Here are some ways to celebrate spooky season in all of the scariest ways Memphis has to offer.

Harry Potter Weekend at Milk Dessert Bar

Milk Dessert Bar in Germantown is hosting their Harry Potter-themed weekend November 1st through November 3rd, and what better way could you celebrate the beginning of the month than with a Sorting Hat Cookie or a Pumpkin Pasty? Harry Potter is good at any season, but drinking a Butterbeer while watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets sounds like the ultimate Halloween plan.

Apple Picking

Is there any better way to remind your Instagram followers that you’re ~thriving~ than by having a photoshoot while apple picking? Jones Apple Orchard is the perfect spot to get the perfect apple and the perfect picture, and now that the weather is finally cooling down, it’s time to break out those sweaters and go apple picking.

Watching a Spooky Movie

While I personally am not a fan of horror movies, one of the best nights of freshman year was first semester when a bunch of new friends and I watched a spooky movie on a projector in a classroom. The quiet halls and dark skies on the gothic Rhodes architecture add to the experience, making it the perfect chill, scary movie night.

Find Out Once and For All, Is the Belli Ghost Real?

As a resident of the 3rd floor of Belli, I’ll admit that I haven’t had any ghost sightings yet. However, I’m a little afraid to admit that, as I feel it’s just begging for a ghost sighting. Prove me wrong though, find out if the ghost is real, or if the noises in my room are just the air conditioning vent.

Have all the Halloween Fun this Weekend and Wait To Do All Your Homework On Sunday Night
