Halloween Group Costumes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Rhodes chapter.

We at Rhodes love Halloween. As Cady says, “In the regular world, Halloween is when children dress up in costumes and beg for candy.” But in college, we do it a little bit differently because we all know that Halloween is the perfect excuse for some awesome parties and one crazy Halloween weekend. And this year, if you’re trying to think of some awesome group costumes to try out, check out our list of group costumes that you need to do with your friends this Halloween!

Troll Dolls So they MAY have freaked you out a little bit when you were younger but hey, who didn’t love playing with their colorful, big, fantastic hair? This is a simple costume for you and your friends to try out, so get colorful and throw it back to past when Troll Dolls were so in!

Minions These cute little Minions warmed your heart in Despicable Me with their cute little lingo and big, loveable eyes. Gather your gal minions and rock the overalls!

Shark Week Got a group of 7 friends? Do you all love Shark Week? Well check out this awesome costume then! Have each person dress up as a different day of the week and wear your best shark week gear!

PacMan General consensus is that PacMan was our favorite game back in the day. Now, it’s time to create a life-sized game of PacMan! Have one of your friends dress up as PacMan and the rest of your friends dressed up as the different colored ghosts. Bonus points if PacMan can find all your ghost friends at the end of the night!

Mario Kart Get your creative gears revving as you and your friend become characters from Mario Kart! Have each friend claim their favorite Mario Kart character and create your own Mario Party!

Be sure to get creative this Halloween and flaunt some amazing costumes with your friends! Happy Halloween!
