Alone: A Poem

So, I’m left alone.

There’s nobody left to call upon I’m still on my own, too far from Home

Everything I do right always seems to go wrong

I’m too blue, you see

My crew they keep excluding me

I’m trying to fix things back to where they used to be

But honestly the lack of inclusion is nothing new to me

I’ve made good strides

But I just slip and fall.

My phone’s at 5 percent.

There’s no one left to call

There’s no light in my life

But still I’m blinded

I just need someone to dance away the night with

I’ve come to terms, my time is borrowed

I’m two steps away from never ever seeing

Tomorrow.
