Studying is hard work. It can be even harder when you have a roommate who loves blasting music while simultaneously watching TV and Skyping with her long distance boyfriend- we’ve all been through it. So we’ve compiled a list of the best unknown study spots where you’ll always be able to find peace and quiet.

– Chairs at the far end of the School of Business. The chairs at this end are just as comfy as the chairs at the library, but are more likely to be empty and free for your use. Since the chairs are out of the way of the classrooms, it doesn’t usually get to loud or distracting.

– Tables on third floor of Crescent at York Hill. At the very end of the Crescent by Central Duty there are numerous tables and chairs just waiting to be used for studying purposes. Unlike the study rooms at York, which fill up quickly and are often in high traffic areas, the tables are at a more secluded and quieter part of the dorm building.

– North Haven Cafeteria. The North Haven caf is roomy, bright and never too crowded. Plus if you need a study break or some brain food, the cafeteria is right there waiting for you.

– The Study Rooms at Rocky Top. Similar to the study rooms found in the York Hill dorm, these are one of the most spacious study opitions. They also have the perk of being close to food and provide a good meeting spot if you’re studying with a group.

– Picnic Tables outside Irma. Weather permitting, these tables are a great spot to study. Not only do you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery we are so lucky to have on campus, you also get to enjoy the fresh air. Being outside will make you feel less restless then sometimes being confined in a room will.

And as always, the Instagram famous and ever reliable Arnold Bernard Library is open for studying 24/7.
