Springtime Shopping at Anthropologie

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Quinnipiac chapter.

With spring just around the corner, it’s about time we stored our North Faces and UGG boots, and changed them out for something a little more seasonal. I mean, who wants to wear their Uggs when you can have on those ever trending gladiator sandals!? Everywhere I look, there seems to be lace, or lace cut-out shirts and floral prints – every sign that spring is coming! And with blue being a HUGE color this season, I’m sure you’re going to see a number of combinations of the previously mentioned factors in this seasons styles. When I think spring, I think light weight, comfortable, easy to move in clothes, and I never seem to miss out when I go to Anthropologie. Speaking of which, Anthropologie did a FANTASTIC job with their Surrealist Dress ($228.00 at anthropologie.com), from the colors to the floral pattern and lace! I can’t wait to wear mine around campus, just as soon as the weather stays consistently above 55 degrees.

In addition to this on-point dress, they have a number of adorable clothes in their New Arrivals section, from the Esplanade Dress ($128.00 anthropologie.com), to the Isla Buttondown ($78.00 anthropologie.com).

Anthropologie has an amazing line out right now called “Legend and Song”, a small collection “..celebrating the craft and artisans of East Africa,” (anthropologie.com), and I am obsessed with EVERY. SINGLE. PIECE. I’ve seen! As far as I can tell, these are all hand made items out of Africa, from Ethiopia to Rwanda to Tanzania. Some of my favorite pieces include this Legend & Song Dutch Wax Mini Skirt ($188.00), and the Legend & Song Methali Jacket ($248.00).
So what are you waiting for? Bust out those Tupperware bins, put away those winter clothes until next year, and freshen up your closet with these fun new items, and then some! And don’t forget to tell us about your favorite spring fashion by tweeting @hercampusqu!
