Style File: Halloween Everyday

Is there anything better than feeling the chill in the air reminding you that it’s finally Fall? No. There isn’t. Between cozy sweaters, pumpkin everything, watching Hocus Pocus for the millionth time, and of course…Halloween, what’s not to love!

In case you couldn’t tell, I love Halloween. Any day that calls for excessive dress-up is perfect in my book. In honor of my favorite holiday, here’s my take on bringing the spirit of Halloween into your wardrobe.

The Clothes

Top L to R: Newlook.com, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters

Bottom L to R: Charlotte Russe, Asos, Black Milk

Let the ghouls be your guide this October. The important thing here is to have fun with it. These pieces are perfect for class, pumpkin carving, or last-minute Halloween costumes. Don’t overthink it.

The Accessories

Top L to R: Topshop, Nasty Gal, Asos

Bottom L to R: Etsy, Charming Charlie, Wanderlust+Co

For something less blatant, incorporate fun jewelry into your look. These pieces can go with your everyday wardrobe while simultaneously adding a little something extra. Don’t forget to step up your sock game with some spooky footwear.

The Beauty Look

Top L to R: Essie, China Glaze, Essie

Bottom L to R: Nars, L’Oreal, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics

Halloween is a great source of inspiration for switching up your beauty looks. Experiment with a bold, dark lip by keeping the rest of the face very simple. This holiday is all about the drama, try smoking out jet-black liner to get a soft look for day then darken it for a night look. Nail color and nail art can be one of the easiest ways to show your spirit whether it’s a pop of pumpkin orange, sparkly purples, or even glow in the dark.
