Chris Meade: Aspiring Photographer

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Quinnipiac chapter.

What is your Major/ Minor?

Film major and Drama minor.

What camera do you use?

I shoot a Canon 5D Mark II and own all my professional gear.

Have you had any internships?

I am a former intern for the Connecticut Film Festival and now the lead videographer for the Stony Creek Museum in North Branford, CT and NXT LVL Music Group.

What do you do with photography?

I direct, edit and shoot all of my own films and also do photography part time. I work under the name SeaMeade and have been busy over the last few weeks hiring managers to help set up dates with clients, working closely with web designers, and also graphic designers. Ads, commercials, music videos, promotional videos, weddings, I’ve done them all.

What are your plans for the future?

My goal is to move to California this summer and begin working as an intern hopefully at LionsGate, New Line Cinema, or HBO. However, work isn’t work when you are doing what you love.

Do you do any freelance work?

I am available for hire throughout the year for any film or video work you may need.
