As the great Meredith Grey once said, “Most people hate hospitals, but not the interns. For them the hospital is a magical place. It’s poetic, the rhythm of the machines, the crackle of a trauma gown. It’s a place full of promise, excitement, surprises. It’s a place where dreams can come true.” Well collegiettes, we are the interns and QU is our hospital (minus the medical machinery and trauma gowns) and despite the minor flaws of our college experiences, it truly stays the place where dreams come true. Here are 10 reasons every Bobcat comes across, as told by “Grey’s Anatomy”:

1. When you pull up Mt. Carmel Rd only to find out that the North Lot is full and you have to park in Hogan. Also, your class starts in five minutes. In the Communications building.

2. When you see the lengthy line at Au Bon Pain. And all you want is a coffee.

3. The Sunday morning walk of shame passed countless campus security officers and people who wake up early to jog or whatever

4. When it’s your turn to be the sober one at Toad’s

5. Sitting through your math classes like…

6. The gym on main is ALWAYS full. ALWAYS.

7. HOCKEY BOYS!!!!!! (Being in the face of a nationally ranked athlete really does something to you)

8. The never ending line at Toad’s where arguing seems to solve everyone’s problems

9. Walking into a Friday 8 a.m. after a long night at Box like…

10. Every college kid. Everywhere. Ever.

Hi, Collegiettes! My name is Caisse. I'm a senior journalism major at Quinnipiac University, just looking to prove my writing other than in a sea of girls in Lily and boys in pastel colored button-ups. Feel free to check out my articles, as well as my personal blog!
