Being 5’11”, there are many scenarios I face in everyday life. There are also many situations I find myself being in almost every day primarily because I’m tall. To my fellow giraffes, I’m sure you can relate with me on these:
1. Being told how tall you am:
2. When people ask if your an athlete:
Just because you are tall does not mean you are coordinated!
3. One word: “full length” mirrors
4. When the jeans looked like they fit your long legs so you didn’t try them on in the store and come home and put them on and they’re too short:
5. When you’re asked “how the weather is up there”
6. The scarce amount of men taller than you is saddening.
7. Men who say you’re too tall for them
DON’T LISTEN TO THEM YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL!
8. People telling you should model and you’re like:
9. Two words: Awkward. Hugs.
10. Realizing being tall is awesome:
