With the seasons changing in the blink of an eye, I find there is no better time of the year to make some personal changes to myself. As a person who expresses themselves primarily through clothing and fashion, my favourite way to make these changes is by sprucing up my wardrobe with some new outfits. Here is a list of items that are on my fall fashion wish list, and hopefully it can serve as some inspiration for you as well.

Orange

This is perhaps the most perfect autumnal shade of orange I have ever seen. The colour is diverse in the way that you can dress it up to make it elegant while also looking festive. I suggest finding a blouse with a satiny finish to best show off the colour. Orange is definitely a great idea if you’re looking for Thanksgiving outfit inspiration.

Fitted Knit

Luxurious knit sweaters are a must-have for colder days with fall and winter fast approaching. I, specifically, love fitted knit sweaters as they sculpt the body and show off your décolleté- making it a super flattering piece. Small touches such as balloon sleeves or a unique neckline will make this sweater stand apart from your other knits.

Flared Jeans

Flares are extremely in-style right now and these dark blue ones have me head over heels. Paired with any t-shirt or blouse, this fashion choice will make your legs look super-model long and the 70s revival aspect will take your outfit to the next level.

Equestrian-Inspired Style

I am a big fan of all preppy equestrian inspired outfits. By occasionally skipping out on jeans, and pairing a white tee with suede leggings, you will for sure be the most chic dresser in any room. The velvety texture will elevate your look while also keeping you super warm for the coziest season of all- autumn! Equestrian-inspired fashion is proof that comfort does not have to be sacrificed for a fancy outfit.

Knitted Dresses

Loungewear has never been so chic. Dress this outfit down with sneakers and a denim jacket or pair it with heels and a trendy bag if you’re dressing to impress. This combination is so incredibly versatile- so stylish and yet oh-so-comfy!

Denim Dresses

I absolutely love this take on a gorgeous and ever-reliable denim dress. The structure and high neckline gives it a high-fashion edge while staying price-conscious. It’s diversity allows the dress to be paired with heels, sneakers, boots – you name it! Nearly anything has the ability to look good paired with a denim dress.

Cozy Coats

Add this to your coat closet because it is the coziest and cutest jackets I have yet to see. I would personally make the coat the statement piece by pairing it with neutral tones. This coat is sure to keep you warm on colder days!

Neon

As we all know, neon has been a big trend and despite the darker, more earthy colour palette we’ve become accustomed to for fall fashion, neon is here to stay! These adorable shoes will dress up any outfit. Jeans + white tee + these = perfection. You can never go wrong with a little pop of colour!
