As Reading Week comes to an end and university is back in session, finding the motivation to study has never been harder. Whether you were lounging on the beach, cozying up under three layers of blankets at home, or eating an absurd amount of delicious food, now’s the time to put everything behind and get back down to the books! A great playlist can make the transition a lot easier. Here are some of my top jams to study to!

2. Warm Foothills by Alt-J

Alt-J never fails with their unique sound. This song of theirs is definitely on the softer side, nevertheless, its soft vocals and harmonies make it absolutely a worthy listen!

4. Countdowns by Sleeping at Last

Sleeping at Last is definitely my go-to study music band. Their instrumental backdrops and lyrics always put one in the right mood.

5. Flapper Girl by The Lumineers

Off their successful first album, Flapper Girl is definitely worth a listen. Its upbeat tone and piano instrumental really keep the brain juice flowing.

6. Alcatraz by Oliver Riot

The flow and rhythm of this song make it a true masterpiece. Throughout the song, Oliver Riot alternates between high energy and soft tunes, always keeping you on your toes.

7. Movement by Hozier

It’s been 4 long years, but Hozier has finally shown up with the new content. Movement is his recently released single. The blues undertones truly make this piece stand out, and Hozier’s powerful voice is never one to miss.

Happy listening and studying!
