Fall’s Best Secret Starbucks Drinks, and How to Order Them

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Queen's U chapter.

If anyone were to know anything about me, they would automatically find out about my love–nay, addiction–to Starbucks. I love the variety they offer, the joy I get from their drinks, and the wonderfully cheerful employees. There’s just not a single reason to not enjoy Starbucks! Recently I’ve been experimenting with different combinations, a.k.a“surprise me” drinks, and asking TikTok for help in choosing an order. As such I’ve become something of an expert, perhaps even a connoisseur if you will! Alas I will let you all in on my “secret” menu drinks. Hope you enjoy them!

Strawberry Shortcake

First and foremost, my all time favourite Starbucks order is what I like to call a “Strawberry Shortcake Drink.” It tastes like happiness, childhood and serenity and is a simple hack! Ask for a Pink Drink with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam–I promise you will not regret trying it! I usually get this in the size Grande.

Smoothie Frappe

To keep on the fruity wave, this next drink is sort of a Starbucks smoothie frappe–and it is otherworldly. For this drink you’ll need to order a dragon drink with heavy cream (or any substitute that suits your dietary needs), as well as three scoops of vanilla bean. Make sure it’s double blended (it will not taste the same if it’s not, trust me)! I would suggest you get this in a Venti, since the three scoops are a little too overpowering for a Grande!

Fall in a Cup

My final secret drink is a fall favourite, and tastes like pumpkin cheer, spooky season and the colourful fall of leaves combined. Essentially, it’s fall in a cup! For this drink you’ll need to order a Grande cold brew (iced, of course) with two pumps of cinnamon dolce and two of the hazelnut. Then, top it off with pumpkin cream cold foam. They’ll ask if you’d like any cream or milk in the actual coffee and that will fall on what you prefer.

These have been my three favourite drinks this fall. Be sure to try them out; I hope you enjoy!!
