Name a song that summarizes your life.

I have a song that reminds me of being at home and with friends. It’s Colder Weather by Zac Brown Band. I was going to say Boys ‘Round Here by Blake Shelton because that’s Colby Rasmus’ (Blue Jays outfielder) walk-up song. They are more like memorable/favourite songs.

What is something that reminds you of home?

When everyone else talks about how small Kingston is and all I can think is how Kingston is so big relative to home.

Do you have any guilty pleasures?

I’m a running addict. I don’t know if that counts as a guilty pleasure but whenever I have free time that’s what I’d want to be doing.

How do you de-stress after a hard week?

For me I just like to go to the gym because I get in the zone and get to listen to my music and forget everything else.

What do you look for in a date?

I’m not really picky. I just think it’s nice when someone shows interest, takes you out and wants to spend time with you. I don’t really care about what we’d be doing. I like the surprise element.

What is the most important thing you’ve learned so far at Queens outside a classroom?

I’ve learned no matter what to always stay true to yourself and make choices that are right for you, not someone else. It’s important not to let other people impact how you feel. You gotta keep a good vibe and stay zen.

If you had a spirit animal what would it be?

A spirit animal? Give me a second, I have to be creative. A cheetah because I love their print and they’re fast.

What is the most daring thing you’ve experienced? Some of this stuff I shouldn’t really say.

What movie could you watch on repeat without getting bored? How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days! Oh my god, I’m such a girl.

You just won the lottery. What are the first three things you do?

  1. Give some of it to people who need it, family and friends.
  2. Definitely travel – to Australia, Fiji, England and Africa.
  3. I don’t know, I don’t really need it to be happy. It’s in a way nice to have the motivation to work hard and get a good job and earn it yourself. But I guess a girl can never have enough clothes…and running shoes.
