With social media taking over our lives… this week we decided to spotlight some of our favorite social mediums brought to us by our very own Purdue University.

While this account may be named after the most infamous week on Purdue’s social calendar, it lends its tweets to weekly party story and any other Purdue party shenanigans that Boilermakers can get into. Their Twitter bio reads, “This one time, we got drunk in West Lafayette. Send your Purdue partying stories to stories@grandprixproblems.com.” So do us all a favor, share your stories and lend us some free entertainment!
@PurdueMakeouts – Purdue Makeouts
As blatantly stated in the account’s Twitter bio, it is “The Official Sponsor of PDA at Purdue and the original college makeouts.” The best thing about this account is that anyone from the student body can (and will) provide any photos anytime the opportunity arises after a wild night on campus. Don’t follow @PurdueMakeouts? Have you made out in a public place in the last year? Let’s hope you haven’t had any embarrassing shots end up on this account without your knowing! And next time you’re out on the town, collegiettes, snap a quick pic of a couple you see with some full on PDA and make sure to tag this lovely account so Purdue students across campus can be made aware of the bad decisions made the night before.

Any and all Victoria’s Secret and VS Pink lovers should follow this account. The Pink representatives that we have here at Purdue University are just amazing! These girls have put on Pink parties consisting of various themes, tailgates, cookie decorating, and more! They have even hosted a Zumba-thon at the Rec Center. If you are ever interested in checking out their Pink events or getting some Pink freebies, this is an account you need to follow!

Let’s be real! I couldn’t write an article about the best accounts for Boilermaker collegiettes to follow and not include this amazing on-line magazine! While we may not tweet obnoxious (and hilarious) party stories or pictures that capture drunken makeouts, we do publicize all of our great news, blog, and event stories for all to see. We also retweet other Purdue organization’s information about upcoming events and news to make sure that you’re all kept up to speed. So please, follow us and tell your followers to follow us. It’s worth it!
