Holiday Looks at Twenty Ten

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Purdue chapter.

Intro: Collegiettes™, not sure what to wear for New Years Eve? We went to Twenty Ten Boutique to check out their holiday looks. Here is what we learned…

* A one-shouldered, rouched dress is always figure flattering. Especially in this black foiled fabric with subtle hints of silver sheen. Pair with a bold necklace and a sparkly clutch for a perfect NYE outfit.

*This black dress adorned with gold sequins is a great way to stand out in the crowd. Styled with a black patent leather belt with a bow clasp and a black clutch with gold accents. Using the same color combinations in different textures and accessories is a great way to dress up an outfit without being too matchy.

*This silver sequined dress will sparkle and shine under any party lights. Go monochrome and pair with silver accessories or dress up the outfit with bold pops of color. Red suede heels, maybe? I think yes! Top that off with a strong red lip & you’re dresssed to kill!

*Metallics are always all of the rage when it comes to NYE. If you’re wearing a solid color or matte dress, opt for a metallic clutch for a little extra shine.

*Your dress does not have to be the center of attention at your NYE party. Python print and texture is in this winter. Go for a colored python clutch to make your ensemble more fashion forward.
