“Falling” for these Fall Drinks: The Best Fall Drinks on Campus

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Purdue chapter.

The wind is blowing a bit harder, the leaves are changing colors, and classes are starting to pile up the work.  When it’s this time of year, I like to treat myself to a yummy fall drink.  There are lots of options on the Purdue Campus, and here are some of my favorites:

Greyhouse Coffee Caramel Apple Cider

Caramel Apple Cider is at the top of the list for me! Depending on where you live, Greyhouse might be a bit of a further walk, but this cider makes it worth it.  It has just the right sprinkle of sweetness and not a completely overpowering apple flavor.  I also never had warm apple cider before this, and it just felt relaxing to drink it on a cool day like the ones we have been having lately!

Starbucks Honey Citrus Mint Tea

This drink is a blend of flavors, and although it has a unique name, it tastes amazing.  It is also referred to as the “medicine” ball because it has many ingredients that have been known to help when you are not feeling great.  It has steamed lemonade with a hint of honey making for a comforting mix.

Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

I’ve only grown fonder to the pumpkin flavor recently because I have not always been the biggest fan of it.  However, if you’re looking for an energy boost, this cold brew is the one for you! Of course, how can you go wrong with pumpkin during the fall season? It is sweetened with vanilla and has a pinch of pumpkin spice on top! I am excited to buy this on my next visit to Starbucks.

Fall is such a great time to fall in love with new drinks and explore the ones you haven’t before!  Personally, I usually keep it safe and order the same drink out of habit, but I do want to expand my palette this season.   If you have any other drink suggestions, let me know, and I can’t wait to try more!
