The Best After School Snack

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Purdue chapter.

After a long day of sitting through lectures, the last thing I want to do is make dinner. But I’ve found an easy to make snack that tastes good, fills me up, and is healthy. I love making and eating avocado, mozerella, spinach, and tomato toast. I know it’s simple, but it is so delicious. Here’s how I make it.

1. Get a beefsteak tomato and cut it lengthwise

2. Take a piece of bread and put pesto sauce on it

3. Put the sliced tomato on the bread with a little bit of spinach

4. Cover with shredded mozerella cheese

5. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until there’s a crispy edge on them

6. Cut an avocado into slices and put them on top with a little salt and pepper

7. Take a picture and enjoy

Let us know if you make this toast! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
