5 Things to Do with Your Boo This Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Purdue chapter.

It’s September, so you know what that means. Whip out the Pumpkin Spice lattés, watch your favorite scary movie, and cozy up with a nice, warm blanket by the fire. Even though fall may look a little different this year, that doesn’t mean there’s no way to enjoy it with that special someone. Here’s five things you can do with your “boo” this fall.

Pumpkin Carving

Fall wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the pumpkin patch. Luckily, pumpkin carving can easily be done with both masks and social distancing! This creative activity is sure to bring out the inner kid in you both.

View the Fall Foliage

Hop in the car and roll down the windows! One of my favorite things to do in the fall with my boyfriend is take long drives to view the fall foliage. View the beautiful yellows and reds as the pumpkin spiced kissed breeze hits your face.

Have a Picnic

Pack up the cozy blankets and fall inspired treats. Autumn brings the perfect weather for a picnic! If you want just a casual, lazy, late afternoon date, picnics are something I highly suggest. Not to mention they are pretty romantic!

Bake Some Fall Inspired Treats

Caramel, Pumpkin, apples, marshmallows?! Fall is the perfect season to whip up that yummy comfort food with that special someone. The classic Caramel Apple is a super easy recipe and one of my go-to treats during the fall season.

Go Camping

One of the get-away activities you can still do safely is Camping. In my opinion, the perfect time to go camping is this season! Get away from the stressors that 2020 has brought upon everyone and spend it with your boo. Whether it’s one day or a weekend, this fall activity is sure to bring the two of you closer.

Though this year may be challenging, there are still many activities you can do safely with the person you love most. Fall is a popular season among many young adults with holidays such as Halloween and Thanksgiving. Hopefully, these five activities to do with your boo will get you out and about loving the fall season just as much, if not, even more.
