With finals winding down, it’s time to relax and destress. My favorite thing to do is veg out watching holiday movies in between episodes of Friends. Here are my top five holiday movies.

1. White ChristmasBefore this year, I have never seen this classic movie. But the first time I saw it, I loved it from the very beginning. By the end of the movie I was crying from the heartwarming story. I will definitely be watching this again before the end of the holiday season. 2. Home Alone 1 & 2I love the Home Alone series, but only the first and second movie. When they brought in the new kid, Home Alone just wasn’t the same without Macaulay Culkin. Every time I watch Home Alone, it just cracks me up. Watching Kevin get left behind every single family Christmas vacation and fight off the bad guys amazes me at how smart a little kid can be.

3. The Princess SwitchVanessa Hudgens has done it again! I was waiting for this movie since I first saw the preview. I loved it so much and it gave me all the feels just like Hallmark movies. There were parts of the movie where it didn’t make any sense, but I mean come on, a cute movie that gives me all the feels is always a win.

4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas

How the Grinch Stole Christmas has always been a great movie! I love the message behind it and I can’t wait to watch the new Dr. Seuss movie featuring the Grinch and his dog Max.

5. ElfElf has taught me important lessons including the 4 main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup. Watching Elf brings back memories of the day before Christmas vacation in elementary/middle school where my teachers had no idea what to do other than have us watch a Christmas movie. Of course, that movie was mostly Elf and each time Will Ferrell makes me laugh and smile.
