I do not know what was in the water but numerous artists have recently announced that they are touring this year! I don’t know about you but I love concerts so when I heard that so many artists were taking to the road to tour again, I was thrilled. While there are thousands of artists touring, I have listed a few that I am the most excited for this year!
- Justin Timberlake: The Forget Tomorrow World Tour
After reading Britney Spears’ autobiography The Woman in Me, I kind of hated him. However, that cannot discount the love I have for some of his songs. He is a heartthrob and honestly I would love to see him on tour before he retires. We can’t forget his hits like “Bringing Sexy Back”, “Cry Me A River”, or “My Love”. You can bet I will be fighting for a ticket to see this popstar in concert this summer!
- Avril Lavigne: The Greatest Hits Tour
While many people may stop and ask themselves, didn’t she drop off the map like a decade ago? The answer is yes and no. She kind of backed away from the limelight, however, two years ago, she was an opener for Machine Gun Kelly on his Mainstream Sellout Tour. I had attended this show and was blown away by Avril Lavigne’s performance. Therefore, I plan to be in attendance at her upcoming tour. But wait, her openers were also announced. We have Girlfriends, and a personal favorite of mine, Simple Plan, joining her on tour! You won’t want to miss this!
- Nicki Minaj: The Pink Friday 2 World Tour
I have personally never seen Nicki Minaj in concert but I have heard it is a cool experience. She is bringing her new album to the road for fans everywhere to see. She has not announced openers yet but I am sure the show as a whole will be one to remember!
- Tate McRae: The THINK LATER TOUR
Tate McRae has been rising in popularity lately as she has released hit after hit. Some venture to say that she is today’s modern day Britney Spears. I have been obsessed with her songs for years and am thrilled that she is doing her own world tour this year. She has announced Presley Regier as her opener. I will be fighting tooth and nail to scream the lyrics to “Greedy” or “Exes” with the crowd at one of her concerts!
- Benson Boone: The Fireworks and Rollerblades Tour
While Benson Boone is definitely not extremely well known, he has so many good songs, especially his newest release “Beautiful Things”. After the success of his newest release, he announced that he would be going on tour! I can’t wait to see this song live along with “In The Stars” or “GHOST TOWN”!
