The holidays are a time for many festive activities such as decorating, gift exchanges, watching movies and many more. But my personal favorite activity is shopping and dressing to impress. While I may be this way, many people are not so enthused about dressing up or putting effort into their outfits. Everybody is different and sport different looks during this time of year. With that being said, I am going to list the types of clothes people wear during the holidays and what it says about them.
Festive Pajamas
If you enjoy wearing pajamas with fun holiday designs, you are probably outgoing and extroverted. At the holiday parties you attend, you are probably busting a groove on the dance floor. People love your fun energy and find you to be a breath of fresh air. Your confidence is palpable. Keep doing you.
“Ugly” Sweater
You are definitely the mom of your friend group and are always there if they need a shoulder to cry on. In your professional life, you are reliable and punctual. Gift-giving is your expertise, and people wish for you to be their secret Santa. I also feel like you make delicious gingerbread cookies. I am not quite sure why I feel that way, but it feels accurate.
Dressed to Impress
You live for the holiday season. It is your time to shine and show off your inner fashionista. People are always asking where you got your clothing from, and you are a walking, breathing Pinterest board. You are always down for a conversation about the current fashion fads. When a friend needs fashion advice, you are always there. When asked to go on a shopping spree, you don’t hesitate. In fact, you are the one driving to the mall. You also have a super organized Christmas list in your notes app.
Sweats and Hoodies
For you, comfort is above all. You have an extensive collection of sweatpants, hoodies and crewnecks. You have a few dresses in your closet, but they’ve been collecting dust for quite some time. When it comes to your favorite holiday activities, you have two extremes: Tubing or binge-watching your favorite Christmas movies. You enjoy the simple things rather than commercialized items. Therefore, you have a pretty simple gift list. While fashion might not be your main priority, your family sure is. The moments you spend with them are the best part of your holiday.
Knit Sweaters
If you wear knit sweaters, you are pretty much the in-between of “Sweats and Hoodies” and “Dressed to Impress” people. Your comfort is essential, but your cute outfit is also a necessity. Quality time with your family is the most important part of your holiday season, and you live for the memories made. Knit sweater people also love Uggs and usually pair them with their sweater.
What you wear can say so much about your personality. Own what you wear and dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident this year.
