“The Vow” begins by introducing a loving couple of Paige—played by Rachel McAdams—and Leo—played by Channing Tatum—dating and during their first few years of marriage.

Then, a tragic car accident leaves Paige with brain trauma and in a coma. When she wakes up, she does not remember Leo and believes she is still engaged to her ex-fiancé, Jeremy.  Throughout the movie, Paige struggles to choose between her old life or her present life with Leo, her husband who she no longer remembers.

While Paige works to make her decision, Leo is fighting to make his wife fall back in love with him.

“The Vow” did not live up to the exceedingly high expectations I had, but it was still a great romantic, tearjerker, girls-night-out type of movie. Overall, it’s a must-see for any romance chick flick-loving girl out there.

One last note: If I woke up from a coma and Channing Tatum told me he was my husband, I would not question it.

Maddie is a junior at Penn State pursuing a major in Public Relations with a minor in Business. She is from Timonium, MD. She loves all things pop culture and hopes to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
