When all those happy lovebirds are getting ready to exchange Valentine’s Day cards, I will be over here wondering when my Prince Charming is going to crash through the door with roses and chocolate, or even pokey sticks will do because, honestly, this is what my life consists of. Even if I were to have a valentine this lovely Valentine’s Day…
Instead of getting those super sweet Valentine’s Day candies that say “love me” or “you rock,” I would probably be getting ones like this:Â
Then, I would probably want some romantic card that tells me how wonderful I am, how appreciated I am and how I make him smile. However, realistically speaking, I would probably end up with one that said something along these lines…
Presents! Gosh, roses would be lovely or even a new pair of fuzzy socks accompanied by some chocolate. Yet, I think this would be more appropriate:
…and then, to go along with all of these beautiful gifts, I would be expecting a lovely poem that starts with “Roses are red, violets are blue…”Â
To end my night, while everyone is enjoying the end of their evenings parading around with love and happiness, bottles of wine, kissing and laughter… I’ll be sitting here like:
