Christmas is coming fast, and it is time to let Santa know what we want this year. As we get older, it’s harder to think of the things that can come in handy in our lives. Here is the ultimate guide to a wish list of a girl in her 20s to help you get started with your own.
- Digital or Polaroid Cameras
-
Digital cameras have become one of the biggest trends of the 2020s, as they truly should. Why were we ever going back in time with photo quality when we could be sticking to the ol’ reliable?
There are a vast number of options to choose from, whether you are just digging into the trend or upgrading to a more professional option. For a simple camera head to Target or Amazon, but to bump up to a pro camera, there are great brands like Kodak and Canon.
Polaroid cameras are another great option that is still underrated. My favorite part of Polaroid cameras is that you cannot critique the photo a million times before retaking it. These cameras capture the moment and usually print with or without your approval, which gives the authentic vibe all photos should have.
- Cozy Slippers
-
Nobody could ever go wrong with a pair of cozy slippers. This is something that appears on my wish list every other year when it is time to replace my current pair. My slippers always start out as the coziest shoes in the world, then I wear them every single day until they barely have any fur left in them at all. Clearly, these will never go out of style. The Ugg Tasman II is always a great hit, but for cheaper dupes, Madden Girl and Lulus also sell a great pair.
- Gel X Kit
-
As a college student, I can barely afford groceries, let alone getting a fresh set of nails done. After mastering a gel X kit, this would not be a problem. This is such a fun and creative way to save money long-term. Besides, college is all about finding new talents to invest in.Â
- Adidas Sambas
-
I admit I already own a pair of Adidas Sambas, but I would also say without a doubt that they are my favorite shoes to own. I will continue to put these on my wish list until I have them in every color. There are many different options, and they go with many styles. For a similar look, Adidas also has Campus, Gazelle and Spezial.Â
- A Classy Watch
-
Recently, I have allowed my accessories to take over the outfit and carry my overall look. I used to get a bunch of cheap jewelry that would tarnish within weeks. Now I prioritize investing in high-quality jewelry that makes heart-touching gifts. I have been wanting a classy, chic watch to pull all of my outfits together. Some brands I have been viewing lately include Coach, Breda, Olivia Burton and Altar’d State.Â
- A Good Perfume
-
Wherever I am, my favorite compliments to receive are about my signature scents. Every girl should have a few scents to keep around as their go-tos. Christmas makes it a perfect time to ask for a new perfume to test out or an all-time favorite that you don’t want to chip at your bank account. I cycle through a few of my favorites, such as Sugarful Dream by Michael Germain, Gucci Guilty or Cloud by Ariana Grande. I am hoping that this Christmas, Santa will bring me the Billie Eilish Eau De Parfum or Mugler Alien Goddess Intense.
- A Ski Set
-
If you are a big snowboarder or skier, you know that the winter season is a big time for us. Christmas is a great opportunity to get some gear for the season, whether it is a new helmet, gloves, Rekkie goggles or, in my case, a new snow set. A few years ago, I got the North Face Snoga Pant in black and am now craving them in a fun color. To go along with my pants, I am going to pair them with a matching Dope pullover jacket to complete the set. I cannot wait to be riding down the mountain in style.Â
Hopefully this gave you ideas to start your own list. Have a happy holiday season!
