Winter is here, which means it is time to get into the holiday spirit. What better way to celebrate the holidays than with a great playlist? Whether you love the Christmas classics or some modern releases, I have just the songs for you

“Santa Tell Me” by Ariana Grande

This song is an ultimate Christmas pop classic that is on replay every holiday season. It is one that everyone recognizes the moment that it comes on. Something about this song is incredibly catchy and fun, making it perfect for singing along with your friends during Christmastime.

Grande is also extremely underrated as a holiday hit-maker, even though she has two Christmas albums. Even though “Santa Tell Me” is not on either of those albums, it is still her most popular holiday song and rightfully so. It is truly a well-made, upbeat song that I listen to each year.

“Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses

I don’t know what it is, but something about this song puts me in such a good mood. Every time that I hear it, I get a boost of energy and immediately need to get up out of my seat. The beat is very unique and manages to get stuck in my head after I listen to it.

Even though the song is very upbeat, it actually details a pretty frustrating Christmas. The song discusses instances where everything goes wrong during the holiday, making the message sound pretty ironic when paired with such a happy rhythm. Ultimately, it is a great song when you might be feeling a little down on Christmas.

“Underneath the Tree” by Kelly Clarkson

This song is another one of my favorite upbeat, but still slightly emotional, holiday songs. Honestly, any holiday love song is going to be on my playlist as they just cannot be beat. This song is no different.

Clarkson has one of the most insane and powerful voices of this generation, taking this Christmas song to a completely new level. Just like the other ones that I have recommended so far, this song is very catchy and is perfect to play at any holiday party.

“Christmas Time Is Here” by Vince Guaraldi Trio

To switch things up a little bit, this song is a classic that immediately gives me a sense of nostalgia when I hear it. It always reminds me of being a little kid and watching the Charlie Brown Christmas special with my family. Unlike the other songs that I have included here, this one is sure to put me in a relaxed mood.

This holiday hit is perfect for listening on a cozy winter day with family or friends. It instantly makes me feel at ease when someone plays this song during the holiday season and it definitely will for you, too.

“It’s Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas” by Michael BublĂ©

Now I don’t know about everyone else, but when I hear the distinct voice of Michael BublĂ©, I know that Christmas is right around the corner. His music is the epitome of Christmastime and is immediately recognizable to everyone who hears it.

Between the smooth melody that everyone loves and the classic sound of the music, the song is one that always gets me into the holiday spirit.

This song is definitely one of my favorites as it exemplifies the feelings of Christmastime. This is due to the combination of BublĂ©’s singing and the whimsical sounds that are used to accompany him. Ultimately, I think that this song is great for any special holiday occasion.

These are five of my absolute favorite Christmas songs that I would recommend everyone to listen to this holiday. I hope that you add some of these to your new Christmas playlist for this year!
