Hit a rut in your homework session? Trying making a smoothie. It’s a deliciously healthy and refreshing way to help re-motivate you, no matter what time of the day it is. Here’s a few smoothie ideas for you to try next time you need brain power to get through the endless hours of studying, writing papers or doing projects.

Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie
8 oz. low-fat vanilla or plain yogurt
1 large banana
1½ cups chopped pineapple, frozen
1½ cups frozen strawberries
2-3 tbsp. ground flax seed
¼ cup milk

Banana Cream Pie Smoothie
2 bananas
5 ice cubes
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup milk

5 Minute Triple Berry Smoothie
2 cups frozen triple berry frozen fruit
2/3 cup non-fat plain yogurt
1 tablespoon white sugar (or sugar substitute)


Green Tea Blueberry Smoothie
1 & 1/2 cups strong, chilled green tea (made with 6 standard tea bags)
2 cups frozen blueberries
1 frozen banana, sliced into 1″ chunks
3 tablespoons honey
