Nepotism is often viewed as a negative term associated with the children of famous people. It is often assigned to young stars who are given opportunities that others have to work hard for, just because of their last name. While this is, in most cases, undeserving, there are many “nepo babies” that have proved to be deserving of fame. Below, I have listed my top five Nepo Babies that actually deserve the fame!

Margaret Qualley is an actress known for many iconic roles. She is also married to Jack Antonoff, Taylor Swift’s longtime friend. Qualley’s mother is Andie MacDowell, an actress known for her roles in “Groundhog Day” and “Four Weddings and a Funeral.”
While many often argue that her fame was handed down to her from her mom, she is a very talented actress. She is skilled and recently starred in “The Substance,” which received great feedback and many award nominations. Overall, I think that she has great potential to be a remembered actress in Hollywood, and I don’t think she has to rely on her mother’s fame for her to gain recognition.

Romy Mars is an actress and singer. She is the daughter of Thomas Mars and Sofia Coppola, as well as the granddaughter of Francis Ford Coppola. Her family is responsible for so many iconic movies, including “The Godfather.” “Apocalypse Now” and “Lost in Translation.” This paved the way for her eventual step into fame, as many of her fellow family members have been introduced to Hollywood as well. These family members include Nicholas Cage and Jason Schwartzman.
Although she is a part of a very famous family, she is very talented on her own. She has released four songs, all of which have been hits, receiving millions of streams across multiple platforms. She has also had acting roles in a few projects, demonstrating her range of talent. I personally really enjoy her music and think that she is going to keep deservingly growing in fame as the years progress.

Cooper Hoffman is an actor known for his roles in “Licorice Pizza” and “The Long Walk.” He is a newer actor in Hollywood, however, he has already made a great impression based on his acting abilities. He is skilled, and his roots to talented performance are shown through his late father, Philip Seymour Hoffman.
While he is the son of a very famous actor, he is not viewed as someone who merely received roles from his father’s fame, rather, he received roles because of the talent that his father passed on to him. He has a very bright future in acting, as he has already starred in multiple pictures that showcase his abilities and enhance how he deserves to be where he is.

Lily-Rose Depp is known for her acting performances and her modeling. She is also famously known for her romance with Timothée Chalamet a few years back. Although her last name is a dead giveaway, she is the daughter of Johnny Depp, as well as Vanessa Paradis, a French model.
Although she is the daughter of one of the most famous actors, she has not received roles due to her lack of talent. She is a very skilled actress, proving her abilities in “Nosferatu,” “The Idol” and “The King.” While many may attribute her fame to her father’s success, she should be recognized for her own talent. I think that she rightfully deserves the fame, and I fully believe that she will go on to star in award-winning films someday.

Lewis Pullman is an actor who recently rose to fame for his role in “Top Gun: Maverick.” He played a lovable character, and from there has been obtaining roles since. His father is Bill Pullman, an actor famous for his roles in the 80s and 90s, especially from his movie “While You Were Sleeping” with Sandra Bullock.
Pullman is an actor who is new to fame, and with that, he has a lot of potential in his career. He has done exponentially well so far with his acting and will continue to do so in his later projects. While he does have a famous parent, his father is not the reason why he is getting roles. He is talented, and I believe that he is going to accomplish great things in the future.
