Trigger warning: Ticketmaster
It is safe to say that Ticketmaster is no one’s favorite website, especially for Taylor Swift fans (also known as “Swifties”). Not getting a pre-sale code, being kicked out of the queue, the queue being paused all together and exorbitant fees are just some of the hoops that Swifties had to jump through to try and secure a coveted ticket to Taylor Swift’s U.S. tour.
Though this was a painful experience, it’s important to find humor in these situations. So, below are my personal favorite memes from this Ticketmaster fail, and why they’re relatable.
- FLOP one
-
About an hour into the presale, Ticketmaster presale codes simply weren’t working. So, Ticketmaster decided to pause the queue temporarily to try and fix the problem. Though this was extremely frustrating, we did get this gem of a meme out of it.
- flop two
-
All the chaos of this presale once again affirmed Swifties’ beliefs that Ticketmaster has no idea what it’s doing. Seriously Ticketmaster, how did you mess up this badly?
- Flop three
-
Ticketmaster had Swifties extremely scared and worried. On top of the stress of Ticketmaster crashing, there’s an added financial stress of having to pay an insane amount for tickets, and the added fees on top of that.
- Flop four
-
Anti-hero really saw this coming, huh? Even with the eerie foreshadowing of Ticketmaster’s disaster, we won’t hold it against this bop of a song.
Personally, one of my devices I attempted to get tickets on crashed and did not let me back in. This was very disheartening, and made the Ticketmaster experience not a good one. I think it’s appropriate to say, that Ticketmaster is the problem.
- Flop five
-
Definitely channeling this Taylor energy after Ticketmaster left us without tickets. In all seriousness, Ticketmaster does need to get their stuff together.
While Ticketmaster did get an unprecedented amount of people trying to buy tickets, they do need to take accountability and be better since this is not the first time it has happened.
- flop six
-
But seriously, how did this happen Ticketmaster?
- FLOP seven
-
BRB, this meme hit too close to home. Are the tears in my eyes from crying because of Ticketmaster, or from laughing too hard at this meme?
Hint: the answer is all of the above.
- flop eight

The lyrics, “somewhere in the haze, got a sense I’d been betrayed” have never felt truer.
This may be my favorite meme on the list. Not only because of the inclusion for one of my favorite “Midnights” songs, but because I love a meme at Ticketmasters expense.
- flop nine

Because no matter how much we complain, we all know we’ll be back.
Mostly, because we have no other choice, but still, we’ll be back.
- flop 1o

….
This hit a little too close to home.
Swifties, please keep your head up! There are still chances for you to get tickets, do not give up yet. Sending some magic ticket fairy dust your way.
