To my furry best friend,

I will never forget the day we met you: August 22, 2016. Your big brown eyes made me fall in love with you instantly. We took you home that very same day and at that moment I knew you would change my life forever.

Four years later and not much has changed. You’re the same playful, loving dog you were on that August day when I first met you. You’ve taught me so much in these short four years.

The constant energy that you show from sprinting laps around the house and destroying every toy we give you, has taught me to be more patient in life.

Your loving and caring nature, from waiting at the door with your wagging tail every time I come home to laying with me when I’m upset, has taught me that you’re more than just a dog.

You act like a mini human that I know will be there for me no matter what. I can count on you to cheer me up when I’m down. I can count on you to always put a smile on my face.

You’re the best dog I’ve ever had and I wouldn’t trade you for the world. You’re more than a dog. You’re a member of our family that has changed each and every one of our lives forever.

Happy Valentine’s Day Reese. I love you forever.
