Meet this week’s campus cutie, Jordan Schefkind. When Jordan isn’t watching movies, playing basketball, or hanging with his friends you can find him cheering on the Knicks, Giants, and Yankees. Jordan is also heavily involved in his THON morale committee, and serves as the brotherhood and rush chair for his fraternity AEPI. We asked Jordan some questions to get to know him a little better.

HC: What do you look for in a girl?

Jordan: Make each other laugh, composure, doesn’t freak out about the small things, good eyes and smile.

HC: How would you describe yourself?

Jordan: Genuine, fun, funny, family oriented, confident, and sweet.

HC: Most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done in front of a girl?

Jordan: I did the Napoleon Dynamite dance and then asked a girl to prom senior year of high school.

HC: What is your guilty pleasure?

Jordan: Trashy reality TV; I used to love Jersey Shore.

HC: Favorite spring break vacation spot?

Jordan: Cancun, I’m going there next week!

HC: Who is your celebrity crush or crushes?

Jordan: Blake Lively and Mila Kunis.

HC: What is your ideal date for State College?

Jordan: We would go out to dinner at Rotelli’s and see a movie. Nothing too complicated I’m an easygoing and chill kid.

HC: What is your go-to pick up line?

Jordan: If beauty were time, you’d be eternity.

HC: If you could have an actor play you in a movie who would it be?

Jordan: Joseph Gordon Levitt or Christian Bale. People say me and Joseph Gordon-Levitt look alike.

HC: What is your dream job?

Jordan: Definitely to be a director for movies in Hollywood.

HC: What is your pet peeve?

Jordan: I hate liars and people who shake their leg.

HC: What are the three things you can’t live without?

Jordan: Movies, my family, and chocolate vanilla swirl with chocolate sprinkles in a waffle cone .

HC: Favorite TV Show/Movie

Jordan: The Sopranos and Gangs of New York.

Born and raised by two Nittany Lions, Rachel continued the tradition by attending Penn State University in the fall of 2009. Currently a senior journalism major, Rachel also spends her time minoring in both psychology and Spanish. During her sophomore year she wrote for the Greek newspaper at Penn State as a member of Alpha Xi Delta, followed by joining the Her Campus team as a writer and the Public Relations/Social Media Manager in the fall of her junior year. In search of mastering the Spanish language, Rachel indulged herself in the country of Spain for five months while she studied abroad in the city of Alicante during the spring of 2012. In order to keep her English up to par, Rachel blogged about her experiences for both her personal account and Her Campus at Penn State.
