A label-less relationship of any sort can be awkward, and with Valentine’s Day falling two weeks after your first few dates, it doesn’t exactly seem fair. Although you might be unsure about where you and your significant other stand this year, every girl deserves to be showered in chocolates and roses on Valentine’s Day, right?

All in all, Valentine’s Day can be a great chance to learn a lot about this new person. Dating is all about learning what you want in a partner and even learning things about yourself. While you’re young, it is so important to take risks. Love is a risk, and putting yourself out there is a real challenge. If you are feeling good about someone right before V-day, then fuck it. It’s never too soon to call someone your valentine. Life is too short, so have fun, be young and take chances. Next year is not guaranteed.
